Learning with Games – Toddler

Games have been a big part of our family long before we even considered homeschooling. Games are an excellent way to spend quality time together as a family and have the added bonus of being educational in numerous ways. Even the simplest games teach turn taking and losing/winning gracefully. I get asked questions all the time about games, so I decided to do a Learning with Games Series. This series will feature our favorite games broken down into appropriate age categories.  Without further delay lets get started today with our favorite toddler games.

Learning with Games

Haba is an excellent company that produces games for young children that are built to last.
HABA My Very First Games – First Orchard Cooperative Game
HABA My Very First Games – Hungry as a Bear – A Memory & Dexterity Game
HABA My Very First Games – Hanna Honeybee Two Cooperative Color Die Game
HABA My Very First Games – Counting Fun – A Farm Themed Game
HABA My Very First Games – Teddy’s Colors and Shapes

Peaceable Kingdom makes beautiful games that are great quality for young children.
Monkey Around Time for Two
Where’s Bear?
Bunny Bedtime Time for Two

Games that include motion are great for this age because we all know toddlers do not sit still.
Seek-a-Boo Game
Think Fun Roll & Play Game
Move & Groove Game

Each of these games was a winner in our house at the toddler age. I hope your toddler enjoys them!
